Thanks for joining me!
“Don’t worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday.”Mary Schmich
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Lizzie and welcome to my blog!
I have been thinking about speaking up for several months now, but never really found a reason to actually start a blog. But as I was reflecting on my life, and how much it has improved this past year, I found motivation to share some of my experiences!
But what experiences would I write about? If you are interested in any of the following topics, you are welcome to tag along and read my thoughts on these 🙂 I will for now focus on my mental health, specifically my experience with and recovery from emetophobia, my half marathon experience, diet, being a student, and more – I am sure a lot more ideas will pop in my head!
If you know me – Thanks for reading this!
If you don’t know me – Thank you too and let me quickly introduce myself:
Most people call me Lizzie and I study Psychology at the University of Bath. I am in my second year now and will be doing a placement at Cambridge Uni next year (which I am very excited for). I am from Germany but I have been in the UK for several years now, as I also went to boarding school here. In my free time I enjoy exercising, knitting, going outside and hanging out with friends! I won’t ramble on for too long now, but I thought I should at least give a little overview about who I am 🙂
I hope you’ll enjoy reading this blog, feel free to contact me if you have any queries or concerns!
